HEBRON — Israeli troops Sunday opened fire at a girl and injured her outside the settlement of Kiryat Arba, east of Hebron, according to local sources. Palestinian News Agency WAFA reported.

Soldiers stationed outside the settlement, illegally built on Palestinians’ lands east of Hebron, opened live fire at Lama Bakri, 16, and injured her, allegedly after she attempted to stab soldiers. Bakri’s condition is still unknown.

At least 120 Palestinians, including 25 minors, and five women, have been killed since the beginning of unrest in the West Bank and Jerusalem since the onset of October 2015, while over 13,500 others have been injured.

Israeli army forces Sunday shot and injured an unidentified Palestinian man, east of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip.

Medical resources from Abu Yousef Hospital told WAFA an unidentified Palestinian man got shot in his leg, with a health condition described as moderate.

Israeli forces intentionally shoot towards Palestinian farmers on daily basis near the eastern and northern borders of the Gaza Strip and prevent anyone from accessing their farmland, which were deemed a security zone.

In another incident in northern Jordan Valley Israeli settlers, Sunday, unleashed dogs on a Palestinian shepherd in the causing him a serious injury in his foot, according to local sources.

Aref Daraghmeh, who monitors settlement activities in the Jordan Valley, said settlers from the illegal settlement of Maskiyaot unleashed dogs at 18-year-old Rami Daraghmeh, causing him a serious injury in his left foot. He was transferred to the Turkish hospital in nearby Tubas city.

Doctors at the hospital informed Rami that his recovery requires a long-term physical therapy. Rami is the main provider for his family.

Daraghmeh said various similar incidents occurred during the past few years, noting that many cases have been filed to the Israeli judiciary; but many were in vain.

In the meanwhile Israeli authorities, Sunday, detained at least six Palestinians and summoned about 15 others for interrogation, most of them during night and predawn raids across the West Bank, according to local and security sources.

In Hebron district, Israeli forces detained three Palestinians in al-Arroub refugee camp and in the town of Dora, who were identified as Wadee Qassas, 17, Ra’ed Abu-Rmeleh and Abdur-Rahman Abu-Arqoub.

Israeli troops broke into the village of Aboud, where they detained Sameh Khalil, 29. They also detained a Palestinian from the nearby village of Silwad. He was identified as Maher Hammad.

To the southeast of Ramallah, Israeli troops stationed at Jabaa checkpoint detained a Palestinian passenger, identified as Ismail al-Amsi from Hebron, while on his way to Ramallah for work.

Forces further stormed Tulkarm, in the northern West Bank, and detained 20-year-old Yahia Bakr.

The Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) said Israeli forces summoned at least 15 Palestinians across the West Bank for interrogation.

In East Qalqilya Israeli forces set up checkpoints at the eastern entrance of Qalqilya and the entrance of both Jeinsafout and Azzoun villages.

They stopped and searched passing Palestinian registered cars and checked their identity cards, causing a traffic jam.

Israel’s escalations has dramatically increased since the ongoing unrest between Palestinians and Israeli forces and police since early October 2015, fueled by Israel’s repeated assaults on al-Aqsa Mosque compound in Jerusalem.
