NEW DELHI (IANS) – Congress Interim President Sonia Gandhi and former party chief Rahul Gandhi on Monday greeted the nation on Eid-al-Adha.
In a statement, Sonia Gandhi, who was elected the party’s Interim President on Saturday said: “This auspicious festival marks the spirit of devotion to almighty as also celebrating the spirit of brotherhood by giving and sharing with fellow human beings.
“May this auspicious occasion bring peace, good health and happiness to all.”
Rahul Gandhi, who is currently in his parliamentary constituency of Wayanad in Kerala, said: “Eid Mubarak to all of you.”
