‘We Will Not Allow RSS-BJP to Spread Hatred’ Says Rahul As BJY Enters Delhi

Date:

NEW DELHI – As the Bharat Jodo Yatra entered the national capital on Saturday, senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi launched a scathing attack on the BJP and RSS, saying that their policies are to spread hate but the common people want harmony.

“The policies of the BJP and RSS are to spread fear and hatred, we will not allow it. I have opened a shop of love in the hatred market,” he said.

“Some people are spreading hatred but common man of the country is now talking about love. In every state, lakhs have joined the yatra. I’ve said to the people of RSS-BJP that we’re here to open the shop of love in your ‘bazar’ of hatred.”

“Hum jahan gaye humko pyaar mila. This Yatra is against fear, hatred, unemployment and inflation. The RSS spreads fear and then they convert it into hatred. We say don’t be afraid as we don’t spread hate”.

“This Yatra is against hate. There is only love and non-violence in Bharat Jodo yatra. This journey will go from Kanyakumari to Kashmir and we will hoist the tricolor there. We have been able to walk from Kanyakumari to Delhi because of people’s love and power. India has helped us, we will never forget it”.

“When I started this journey from Kanyakumari, I came to know that there is no hatred in this country, there is only love in this country,” he added.

“As I had said a few days ago that in this market of hatred, we will open up a shop to spread love in society, every Indian should open a small shop to spread love. You would have seen there is no hatred in this yatra,”

The yatra, which entered the Badarpur border in the early hours of Saturday, will reach Ashram at 10.30 a.m.

After a short break, the mega walkathon will resume at 1.30 p.m. and reach the Red Fort via Hazrat Nizamuddin and India Gate.

After reaching the Red Fort, Rahul Gandhi will pay tributes at Rajghat, following which the yatra will halt until January 3, 2023.

During the the nine-day break, the containers will be repaired and prepared for the harsh winter in the north, according to Congress General Secretary Jairam Ramesh.

“Also, many Bharat Yatris will be able to spend time with their families after almost four months. The journey will resume on January 3,” he had said earlier this week.

The yatra will commence from Ghaziabad on January 3 and then from Sanoli Khurd at the Panipat border on January 6.

On this occasion, a massive rally will be organised in Panipat the following day. -IANS
