NEW DELHI — Video of a little girl being subjected to communal innuendo by a man not visible on the screen has surfaced on social media. The man, apparently a Hindutva hothead, can be heard making derogatory comments on her community and asking her to abuse Allah while intermittently hurling at her a communal slur often used against Muslims.
Throughout the brief 9-second clip, the visibly petrified kept staring at her tormentor unable to understand the situation.
The video was shared by a twitter user, Abdul Quadir, with a caption reading: “A Hindutva terrorist is Threatening the preschooler little girl that if she does not abuse Allah, then this terrorist will beat her a lot, saying abusive words (Tu Katui hai na).
The child is apparently being harassed mentally. There is no other reason for the culprit to target the child except that she belonged to a particular community which he treats as his enemy.
The post, which drew instant outrage on the Twitter, was retweeted by film actor and an activist Swara Bhaskar.

“The man is clearly intimidating the little girl who can be seen as visibly frightened and shaken. This is a very serious matter,” Maliwal said.
The DCW chief further demanded a copy of the FIR and detailed action taken report from Delhi Police within three days. A senior Delhi Police official confirmed that so far, no FIR has been registered in the matter.
