LUCKNOW – A disturbing and controversial case has come to light in Etah district of Uttar Pradesh, where a Sub-Inspector (SI), Rajeev Kumar, has accused his senior officer, Jailor Pradeep Kashyap, of serious misconduct, including the demand for Muslim girls for debauchery, sexual harassment, and torture. The shocking accusations, made public in a viral video, have left the local police force and the public in disbelief.
In an emotionally charged video, a visibly distressed Rajeev Kumar accuses Jailor Kashyap of harassing him and demanding Muslim girls for his gratification. The SI, in his video message, warns that he is on the verge of ending his life due to the unbearable stress and mistreatment. “Jailor Pradeep Kashyap demands Muslim girls from us for his debauchery. I will commit suicide after releasing this video. I have not been given leave for the last 6 months because I am not able to fulfill his demand,” says a tearful Rajeev Kumar in the video. He continues to describe the emotional and psychological toll the harassment has had on him, stating, “I am being tortured in many ways, and I cannot live like this anymore.”
The video also makes startling claims regarding the exploitation of a woman, a nurse from Kasganj, by Jailor Kashyap. SI Kumar states that the jailor manipulated the woman by luring her with the promise of marriage before allegedly subjecting her to sexual harassment. “He trapped the nurse from Kasganj in his love trap and sexually harassed her. Now, he is demanding Muslim girls from us. Where am I supposed to find them?” Kumar says, adding to the gravity of the allegations.
The viral video depicts an emotional SI Kumar pleading to the public for help. He cries while speaking out about the oppressive atmosphere in the jail, stating, “People are afraid of policemen, but I’m telling you how unhappy we are, even among ourselves. The jailor of Etah has ruined our lives.”
Responding to the viral video and the grave allegations against him, Jailor Kashyap calls them false and baseless. He strongly refuted the accusations, stating, “These allegations are completely untrue. I will take appropriate action against the warden who has made these claims.” Furthermore, Kashyap pointed out that the act of making a video while in uniform and sharing it on social media is a serious breach of discipline.
