GAYA — In a self-defence training Programme held under the banner “Veer Hindu Vijayee Hindu” on June 17 in Bihar’s Gaya, hate-filled and derogatory remarks were made against Muslims during the event.
The Programme organised by a Hindu nationalist group, was presented as a training initiative focused on self-defence and community awareness. As per reports a speaker used offensive language while referring to Muslims.
The leader who is said to be from an upper caste, used derogatory terms for Muslims such as “mlechha,” “demon,” and “bug-like heretics.”
According to the video that went viral on social media, the speaker also made references to contentious and unverified narratives, including claims related to “love jihad” and alleged religious conversions. In the video he can be heard saying Hindus should use ‘pigs’ for self-defense against Muslims.
During his speech he promoted conspiracy theories against Muslims, such as “love jihad” and religious conversion, and alleged that Hindu women are being targeted and that attacks are being carried out on Hindu religious symbols, temples, and idols!
These claims were made without any supporting evidence being presented during the program.
During the programme he also described Khoda as a “den of terrorism” and alleged that madrasas are being run there, “jihad” is being propagated in the name of namaz, and that area is involved in activities and funding linked to “Pakistan!”
The remarks have triggered concern among people and locals, who have condemned the alleged use of hate speech and warned that such rhetoric could contribute to communal tensions.
Local authorities have not yet issued a detailed statement on the specific allegations made during the event. The story will be updated as the details emerge.
