WORLD’S LARGEST BRAINSTORMING MEETING IN UAE SOON
DUBAI, December 3 — The UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, has called on Emiratis to participate in the world’s largest brainstorming meeting, which will be held soon to develop the sectors of health and education.
He added that the Cabinet will hold a two-day special session next week to discuss innovative ideas about the two sectors through setting up a “Government Innovative Laboratory” in which all the federal ministers will take part. The session will come up with resolutions that can overhaul the health and education sectors. The Vice President urged citizens and residents through his Twitter account to propose creative ideas, to be sent through www.uaepm.ae or through Twitter or by sending video to email address: [email protected] Sheikh Mohammed said that “The education and health sectors are the U.A.E.’s main national issues,” and that their development is dependent on the citizens and the government, noting that despite huge efforts exerted by the government to develop these two sectors, “yet the progress attained so far does not meet our aspirations and expectations.”
He added that the development of education is a historic responsibility. “We ask youth, men and women to suggest ideas and proposals on the development of education and health. We are looking forward to the largest national brainstorming session to discuss new solutions. I’m optimistic because citizens rise to the occasions whenever approached to contribute to innovative ideas.”
A specialized panel will analyse proposals and submit them to the Cabinet to discuss them during the session. The proposals endorsed by the Cabinet will be announced immediately after the session.
