LUCKNOW: All India Majlis-e Ittehadul Muslimeen chief and Hyderabad MP, Asaduddin Owaisi has sent financial help to the family of cattle trader Qasim who was lynched by a mob in Hapur district of Uttar Pradesh last week. He has also helped 65-year-old Samiuddin who has survived the brutal assault by the mob.
AIMIM’s national spokesperson and Uttar Pradesh coordinator Syed Asim Waqar met the victim families and handed over the cheques. He gave Rs one lakh to the family of Qasim and Rs 50,000 to Samiuddin who is recovering in a hospital.

“On the order of our president Asaduddin Owaisi, on behalf of AIMIM I gave Rs 1 lakh to Qasim’s daughter at her home and Rs 50,000 to injured Samiuddin,” said Asim and shared related photos on Twitter.
He also asked as to why SP, BSP and Congress are silent on the lynching.
On 18th June, 45-year-old Qasim was lynched by a mob in Hapur district over cow slaughter rumor while his co-villager 65-year-old Samiuddin sustained serious injuries in the assault.
