WASHINGTON — Muslim Peace Coalition of the USA, a coalition of organizations and activists, has condemned the barbaric terrorist attack at the New Zealand mosques during Friday prayers, killing more than 49 people and injuring many more.

While demanding police protection at the mosques and to hire professional security services in US, Muslim Peace Coalition (MPC) blamed the Islamophobic propaganda for such a massacre in Christchurch and also blamed US president Trump for Islamophobic hate-mongering as “admitted by the terrorist mass murderer in New Zealand.”

Dr. Shaik Ubaid, the Co-Chair of the Muslim Peace Coalition, in a press statement issued after the terror attack on New Zealand mosques said: “We blame the Islamophobic propaganda for this massacre which has now become politically acceptable in many countries including the US because of the opportunist elements among the politicians and in the media who have joined the bandwagon of the religious extremists, ultranationalists and White supremacists.”

“Even the President of the US has been guilty of Islamophobic hatemongering as admitted by the terrorist mass murderer in New Zealand. The terrorists belonging to the RSS in India, Ma Ba Tha in Burma, Kach in Israel regularly praise and quote the President,” Dr Ubaid pointed out March 15 which is a famous date in history because of the assassination of Julius Caesar of Rome will now live forever in infamy because of this massacre,” declared Dr. Ubaid.

Muslim Peace Coalition also thanked the leaders of faith groups and human rights organizations who have steadfastly stood with the Muslims over the last many years.
