LUCKNOW — A tragic accident has claimed the lives of two madrassa students, Muhammad Shamsher and Muhammad Rehan, as they were on their way home during the Ramadan vacation in Uttar Pradesh’s Mau district. The incident occurred when a speeding Bolero hit the two students, who were walking peacefully on the roadside. The accident has raised questions about the circumstances surrounding the crash and sparked widespread outrage.

The two students, both from Madrasa Jamia Amjadiya Rizvi in Ghosi, were excited to head home for the Ramadan break. However, their journey took a heartbreaking turn when a Bolero vehicle, allegedly speeding, struck them from behind, leaving the students seriously injured. They were initially rushed to local hospital for treatment before being transferred to a private hospital in Ghosi. Unfortunately, despite medical efforts, Muhammad Shamsher succumbed to his injuries shortly thereafter. Muhammad Rehan’s condition also remained critical, and he passed away on Monday night.

Eyewitnesses have raised concerns about the nature of the accident, with some questioning whether the driver of the vehicle was drunk or if the incident was more than just a tragic accident. Witnesses noted that the two students were walking on the side of the road when they were struck with such force.

“This is a tragic incident that deserves a transparent investigation,” said blogger Sahil Rizvi. “We need to know if the driver was intoxicated, or if there was some kind of hatred or ill-will involved. The police must take strict action in this matter.”

Madrasa Al-Jami’at Al-Ashrafiyya Mubarak has also expressed its deep sorrow over the loss of the students and called for a thorough investigation into the accident. The madrasa has demanded that the police identify and punish those responsible for the tragedy to ensure that such incidents do not occur in the future.

“We are heartbroken by this tragic loss,” said a representative from the madrasa. “The families of the victims deserve justice, and the authorities must ensure that those responsible for this senseless act are held accountable.”

The Bolero vehicle involved in the accident has been taken into custody by the police. However, the community remains anxious to see whether the police, particularly @Uppolice and @lkopolice, will conduct a thorough investigation and bring justice to the grieving families.

As the investigation unfolds, the local community, along with various social media activists and community leaders, are calling for swift and just action to uncover the truth behind the accident. Many are also urging the authorities to ensure that the deaths of Muhammad Shamsher and Muhammad Rehan are not forgotten and that such tragedies are prevented in the future.

The tragic loss of these two young students has cast a shadow over the otherwise joyous Ramadan vacation, leaving their families and the wider community in deep mourning. As the days go by, the question remains: will justice be served to those affected by this senseless and brutal tragedy?
