As the news of the hospitalisation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi surfaced, senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi took to the Twitter to extend his love and support for Modi and wished her mother speedy recovery.
“The love between a mother and a son is eternal and priceless,” Gandhi tweeted in Hindi.
“Modi Ji, my love and support is with you in this difficult time. I hope your mother gets well soon,” he said.
Besides Rahul, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel is among other Congress leaders who wished PM’s mother a speedy recovery.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s mother, Heeraben, was admitted to the UN Mehta Institute of Cardiology & Research Centre in Ahmedabad on Wednesday where her condition was said to be stable.
According to reports, hospital Director R.K. Patel in a health bulletin said, “Heeraben Modi is admitted to the hospital and her condition is stable.”
