Every day is Kristallnacht in Palestine, notably since October 1, Israeli forces free to reign extreme state terror on defenseless Palestinians with impunity.
An undeclared state of war exists – with no available safe havens. Communities, homes, schools, hospitals and mosques are battlegrounds like streets – pitting heavily armed soldiers and militarized police against a largely new generation of youths wanting freedom from occupation, armed almost solely with their redoubtable spirit.
Palestinians won’t ever forget the July immolation deaths of three Dawabsha family members – cold-blooded murder committed by extremist Israeli settlers, uncharged, not prosecuted, free to commit more high crimes with impunity.
Early Tuesday, settlers attacked a Ramallah area Palestinian home. Maan News reported the following:
“Hussein al-Najjar, (aged 30 said) settlers arrived (at) his home in the village of Beitillu around 1:30 a.m. and vandalized the exterior walls of the house before smashing in a window and throwing three tear gas bombs inside.”
He, his wife, and 9-month-old son Karam suffered from “severe tear gas inhalation.”
“The family survived death thanks to the intervention of neighbors who broke open the main door and evacuated the family, who were found unconscious.”
Otherwise they could have perished. Photos show the phrases “revenge” and “hello from the detainees of Zion” spray-painted in Hebrew on the side of their home.
An investigation if conducted will be whitewashed with virtual certainty, the perpetrators free to commit more crimes.
Settlers regularly attack Palestinians with impunity, ignored by Israeli security forces, never impeded.
These are clear acts of terrorism – OK when committed against Palestinians. Their justifiable self-defense actions are automatically called terrorism.
Netanyahu outrageously compares Palestinian freedom fighters to ISIS. Earlier he said Hamas is ISIS – shifting blame for his high crimes onto victims.
On Monday, Israeli public radio reported its High Court is set to order the release of two accused perpetrators of the Dawabsha family immolation murders – along with one or more other suspects, provided they remain under house arrest, a loosely enforced restriction when it comes to Jews involved in committing crimes against Palestinians.
Last week, Defense Minister Moshe Ya’alon said “(t)he perpetrators of the crime of Dawabsha family arson are identified for us, but there is no evidence to bring them to trial or to charge them” – code language for Israeli coverup of criminality against Palestinians at the highest levels of its sordid regime.
Western media systematically ignore what’s ongoing, mindless of Israeli high crimes committed against defenseless Palestinians, suffering hugely under one of the world’s most ruthless regimes – brutalizing an entire population with impunity.
