Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind Restores Three Mosques in Mewat

NEW DELHI – Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind, under the leadership of President Maulana Mahmood Asa’d Madani, has successfully restored three vital mosques in Mewat, reigniting hope and unity in the wake of recent riots.

In the aftermath of the Mewat riots, which left 14 mosques damaged, Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind’s relentless efforts have led to the restoration of three additional places of worship, emphasizing the organization’s commitment to community welfare and harmony.

The reopening of Bazar Wali Masjid in Hodal for Friday prayers marked an emotionally charged moment as Imams expressed their profound gratitude to President Maulana Mahmood Asa’d Madani for his steadfast support and leadership during these challenging times.

The inauguration ceremony, attended by distinguished personalities, including Maulana Hakeemuddin Qasmi, the General Secretary of Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind, showcased the unity and faith that has bound this community together. During the event, Maulana Sher Muhammad Amini, Vice President of Jamiat Ulama Haryana & Punjab, delivered an inspiring address, underscoring the extraordinary services rendered by Jamiat. The Friday prayer was led by Imam Maulana Imran Muhammad Kaleem Kashifi, symbolizing a powerful renewal of faith.

Maulana Hakeemuddin Qasmi emphasized the paramount importance of faith and resilience in confronting life’s trials. He fervently urged the community to actively engage in the development of their homeland, strengthening their unbreakable ties with India. He underscored the need to instill unwavering moral values in the younger generation, reiterating Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind’s unwavering dedication to the nation’s progress.

In a separate ceremony, the Eidgah Mosque in Hodal district Pulol was inaugurated by Maulana Muhammad Yahya Karimi, the General Secretary of Jamiat Ulama Haryana & Punjab. In a heartfelt video message, Maulana Muhammad Abid, Imam of the Eidgah Mosque, praised Jamiat for their rapid response in reconstructing the mosque after the unfortunate incident. “Thanks to their timely efforts, the official Friday prayer resumed within just one month,” he said, highlighting the organization’s swift and effective action in restoring community faith.

Maulana Muhammad Umar Farooq, Imam of Bazar Wali Mosque, also extended his heartfelt appreciation for Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind’s unwavering support during challenging times. He eloquently described the organization as a beacon of hope, not only providing assistance but also reigniting a renewed sense of faith and unity within the community.

The delegation, which included Mufti Saleem Sakras, Master Qasim Mahon, and Hafiz Yamin Sohna, reinforced Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind’s steadfast commitment to community welfare, showcasing that in the face of adversity, unity and faith can triumph, bringing renewed hope to Mewat and the nation as a whole.
