A Palestinian woman was also arrested Monday morning after allegedly stabbing an officer at the Qalandiya checkpoint between Jerusalem and the West Bank administrative capital Ramallah.

Israel’s intelligence agency Shin Bet said in a statement that Asya Kabaneh, 41, decided to attack the soldiers because of family problems and hoped they would kill her.
