Fire Incident At A Warehouse Near Mina, No Casualty Reported

MINA – The Civil Defense teams were successful in extinguishing a fire that swept through a warehouse at Muaisem slaughterhouses near Mina on Sunday night, reported Saudi Gazette.

No one was killed or injured in the fire, according to Col. Abdullah Al-Harthy, spokesperson of the Civil Defense general directorate in Haj.

He said that the Civil Defense operations room received information at 8.25 p.m. about a fire at the warehouse inside the slaughterhouses complex, located outside the holy sites.

The fire, which broke out at the warehouse that stocked furniture, was totally brought under control and extinguished, Al-Harthy said, adding that an investigation is under way to find out the causes of the fire, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
