Farmer’s Son Mohammad Sufiyan Ranks 16th in JEE Main Session-2

NEW DELHI — Hailing from a humble farming background, Mohammad Sufiyan ‘s journey to achieve academic excellence epitomises his resilience and grit. Sufiyan secured 16th rank in the prestigious Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) results which were announced recently.

Belonging to a quaint village, Sufiyan’s path to success was laden with many challenges. Supported by his hardworking father, a farmer, Sufiyan’s relentless dedication propelled him towards his goal. His remarkable achievement of attaining a perfect NTA score of 100 in the JEE Main 2024 examination speaks volumes of his unwavering commitment and perseverance.

Once again, the coaching institutes in Rajasthan’s Kota showcased their prowess in shaping academic brilliance, with three out of the top five scorers hailing from their tutelage. Gajre Neelkrishna Nirmal Kumar clinched the all-India No. 1 rank, followed by Sanjay Mishra. Aditya Kumar secured the fourth position.

A total of 56 candidates, including two females, accomplished the remarkable feat of securing a perfect NTA score in the April session of JEE Main 2024. These exceptional achievers have set a new benchmark for academic excellence, inspiring aspirants nationwide.

The JEE Main 2024 examination was conducted in two sessions, held in January and April, with over 24 lakh students registering for both sessions. Spanning across 319 cities in India and 22 cities abroad, candidates tackled questions from subjects like Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The evaluation awarded four marks for correct answers while imposing negative marks for incorrect responses or unanswered questions.

The top 2.5 lakh qualifiers of JEE Main 2024 are eligible to register for the JEE Advanced examination. Success in JEE Advanced opens doors to pursue courses in prestigious Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and other centrally funded colleges nationwide.

Candidates can access their JEE Main 2024 scorecards via email. To be eligible for JEE Advanced, candidates must rank among the top 2,50,000 successful candidates in B.E./B.Tech.
