Asaduddin Owaisi Attacks Modi Over Lynching Incidents

Date:

Asaduddin Owaisi, President of All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen and MP.

While participating in the debate of mob lynching incidents in Lok Sabha, MIM leader said “we can’t break the spate of mob lynching incidents until BJP stop to practice faith as a political ideology”.

HYDERABAD — All India Majlis-e-Ittehad-ul Muslimeen president and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi on Monday alleged in Lok Sabha that Narendra Modi led BJP government was not only promoting Hindutva but also glorifying the targeted killings of Dalit and Muslim in the country.

While participating in the debate of mob lynching incidents in Lok Sabha, MIM leader said “we can’t break the spate of mob lynching incidents until BJP stop to practice faith as a political ideology”.

Owaisi alleged that Government of India is promoting cultural nationalism instead of constitutional nationalism. Narendra Modi led BJP government has failed in its constitutional duty to protect the Muslims and Dalits, he added.

Raising a question whether cow protection was an essential religious practice in Hinduism like Namaz, Roza in Islam and Panj Kakars in Sikhism, he urged the centre to seek the supreme court’s help in this regard. “Let’s decide once whether it is basic practice or not” he said.

Owaisi said if Prime Minister of India believed in the reality, and not doing merely a lip service then he should stop his shadow army.

He further said that the Prime Minister during his recent visit to Israel had met a Mumbai terror attack victim Moshai which was a welcoming gesture but “why was our PM so reluctant to meet slain Akhlaq’s son, Juniad’s brother and even our own people who have been attacked in Karnataka”.
