Bangladesh: False Claims of Hindu Temple Burning Debunked, Video Shows Mazaar Sharif

Date:

DHAKA – Recent claims on social media suggesting that a video shows a Hindu temple being burnt in Bangladesh have been debunked. The video in question actually depicts the Mazaar Sharif of Hazrat Gareeb Shah in Jessore, which was attacked five days ago.

Fact-checker Mohammed Zubair clarified the misinformation, highlighting that the video was misrepresented as evidence of violence against Hindu temples, Vartha Bharati reported.

This clarification comes amid ongoing concerns about the accuracy of reports surrounding violence in Bangladesh.
