8 Civilians Injured in Grenade Attack in J&K’s Pulwama

SRINAGAR — Eight civilians were injured on Saturday as suspected militants allegedly hurled grenade on Security forces near a bus stand in the Tral area of J&K’s Pulwama district.

The incident took place at around 11.20 am.

According to Police, the grenade missed the intended target and exploded on the road injuring eight civilians.

“Eight civilians sustained injuries in the explosion. They were shifted to hospital for treatment. Doctors said all of them are out of danger,” police said, reports IANS.

The area was cordoned off immediately and the security forces launched a search operation to arrest the assailants, the police said.
