NEW DELHI – A video of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath using abusive language while giving a statement to ANI news agency has surfaced on social media. This incident has received a backlash on Twitter.
In the video, Yogi can be heard saying, “I thank the honourable prime minister, central health ministry from my heart for providing COVID vaccine for free. I want to thank the country’s scientists. What are you doing, f******.”
After the video came to light, political leaders and journalists pointed out that the abusive words used by the CM show his approach to journalists.
इस वीडियो को देखकर शायद आप शर्मिंदा हो जाये:-

All the jokes and memes aside, we now live in times where the Chief Minister of a state abuses a media person on camera and ENBA awardees are all silent. What good is an award if it comes at the cost of your self respect?

Meanwhile, the ANI has retracted the video and posted another one.

Some people also slammed the ANI for covering up the objectionable words of the Yogi rather than demanding apology from him.
Such a shame that instead of demanding an apology from a CM for abusing its staff @ANI chose to retract the abusive video & is helping the attempt to cover up what was clearly unacceptable behaviour by an elected representative.

The UP government claimed that the video was morphed but fact-checking website Al News said that the video is real one which was also broadcast by some news channels.
Channels like ABP News have limited the reach of the controversial video.
So @AbpGanga's live feed, which had the segment showing Adityanath cursing, has been made private on YouTube.
It's the government's high handedness that is turning more embarrassing now. And poor show, @ABPNews. pic.twitter.com/tJpiwI0z36
