Won’t React on Alliance With TDP, JDU Until Discussions With Coalition Leaders: Rahul Gandhi

NEW DELHI — Congress leader Rahul Gandhi addressing a press conference revealed that INDIA bloc will not answer about the alliance with TDP and JDU without discussions with the alliance partners.

He was speaking at a press conference organized at the Congress headquarters in Delhi on Tuesday evening after the election results, reported Vartha Bharati.

Responding to a Journalist’s query about whether the INDIA bloc would proceed with formation a government he said, “We are a party which is a part of the INDIA coalition. I will not answer this question without talking to our partners. Our meeting is scheduled for tomorrow. We will ask their views and opinions and let you (the media) know about the next step.”

“In this election, we fought against the independent organizations that were misused by the BJP and the NDA government. They held our bank accounts. They jailed and harassed our alliance members. However, we had faith in the people. The people have given a befitting answer to all that in this election,” he added.
