NEW DELHI — An undated video depicting a teacher purportedly encouraging Hindu students to physically assault a fellow Muslim student has ignited a firestorm of controversy, prompting action from local authorities. In the video footage, the teacher can be heard making incendiary remarks, directing students to forcefully strike a fellow student of Muslim faith. “I have declared jitne bhi Mohammedan bachhe hai…” the teacher is heard saying, reportedly encouraging Hindu students to attack the Muslim student in a disturbing display of discrimination. Authorities from the Muzaffarnagar Police department were quick to respond to the viral video.
