PRESIDENT SHEIKH KHALIFA’S HEALTH IS STABLE, ASSURES ABU DHABI CROWN PRINCE

ABU DHABI, Feb 4 — General Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, assured the people of the United Arab Emirates on the health of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, stressing that his health condition was stable and reassuring.

Sheikh Mohamed said on Monday to his guests at Al Bahr Palace, “We experienced tough times, which we, thanks Allah, overcame.”

He touched on the strong fraternal ties between the United Arab Emirates and Qatar, saying that there was no disagreement between brothers in the UAE and in Qatar.

He added, “The Qatari people are our brothers, and Qatar is part of the GCC. I personally have a special relationship with His Highness Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani, Amir of Qatar, and I have great confidence that Sheikh Tamim believes the interest of Qatar is linked to that of the GCC.”

Sheikh Mohamed pointed out that differences might happen between siblings in the same house, but nothing can divide the UAE people from our brothers in Qatar.”
He stressed his confidence in the prudence and wisdom of Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani, adding that the relations between the UAE and brothers in the GCC are greater than to be affected by tendentious attitudes.

He added, “The Arab street has a misunderstanding and lack of vision of what has happened recently. We emphasize that we have no dispute with Qatar but we only reject the false accusations that affect the sovereignty, values and doctrine of the UAE and its people.
