NEW DELHI – On the 27th anniversary of the Babri Masjid demolition, Netizens have remembered the horrific incident in which the mosque structure was brought down by a frenzy mob led by the former Bharatiya Janata Party chief Lal Krishna Advani and other BJP leaders on 6 December 1992.

After 26 years of the violent destruction of the mosque which had raked up communal riots across the country, the Supreme Court decided to hand over the land to build the temple at the site where the mosque once stood.

However, people did not forget the horrific incident and the culprits who demolished the mosque in broad daylight. Twitteratti also remembered the incident and lamented that the culprits responsible for the mosque demolition were not punished as yet.

Remembering the demolition, some people called 6 December “brutal reminder” and some called the incident “worst example of mobcracy”.
