NEW DELHI — The Supreme Court of India will deliver the much awaited verdict on Babri Masjid-Ram Janambhoomi title suit on Saturday morning, according to media reports.
Five-member bench headed by Chief Justice of India Ranjan Gogoi will announce the verdict at 10:30 AM, as reported in the media.
The matter has been listed at 10.30 a.m. for pronouncement of judgment in Chief Justice’s Court tomorrow (Saturday), reports livelaw.in.
The apex court had reserved the verdict on October 16 after conducting regular hearings for 40 days.
The decision was taken by Chief Justice of India Ranjan Gogoi in consultation with the four other judges deciding the case late on Friday evening, reports NDTV.
Justice Ranjan Gogoi on Friday met the officials of UP government to take stock of the preparedness of state government to meet any emerging situation of law and order in and around Ayodhya once the verdict is announced.
