Hobart — After a sabbatical of two years, Sania Mirza clinched the WTA Hobart International trophy with Ukrainian partner Nadiia Kichenok as the pair defeated Shaui Peng and Shuai Zhang of China in the WTA final on Saturday in Hobart Australia.
She took to twitter to express her joy following the victory. She wrote, “Title town after two years, What an amazing week in Hobart”.

The scores at the end of the one hour 21 minutes match stood at 6-4 6-4.
Sania Mirza who hails from Hyderabad in south India bagged first doubles title since 2007 making it 42nd WTA doubles title of her career.
They total prize money fetched by the pair after clinching the title is USD 13580. They also earned 280 ranking points each after finishing as winners.
Sania Mirza returned to court after a break of two years. Mirza, who is married to Pakistani Cricketer shoaib Malik, last year became mother.
