GAZA CITY — A Palestinian child was killed in an Israeli attack in Jabalia, northern Gaza, on Tuesday morning, marking another violation of the ceasefire agreement, as Israel continues to breach it, killing hundreds of civilians, most of them children, women, and the elderly.
Local sources confirmed a child was killed and another injured in the attack targeting an area in Jabalia al-Balad.
According to the Palestinian Health Ministry, over 600 Palestinians have been killed and about 1,600 others injured since the ceasefire began on October 10.
Among the victims were 292 children, women and elders, and 99 percent of those killed were civilians, according to the Gaza Government Media Office.
A total of 72,061 have been killed by Israel in Gaza since its genocidal war began in October 2023, the Ministry added.
On Sunday alone, 11 people were killed in attacks in southern and northern Gaza. The attacks targeted a tent sheltering displaced families, several gatherings of people.
Israel has violated the ceasefire more than 1620 times, also restricting the entry of much-needed aid. — QNN
