Pakistan PM Imran Khan Celebrates Diwali with Cake Cutting Ceremony

ISLAMABAD — Pakistan Prime Minister has extended his greetings to the members of the Hindu Community on the occasion of Diwali, a Hindu festival of lights.

Prime Minister also joined in on Diwali celebrations as he took part in a cake cutting ceremony to mark the occasion on Tuesday.

In a video shared by the ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) official Twitter handle, the premier can be seen cutting a cake to celebrate the Hindu festival on the invitation of  PTI’s minority MNA Dr Ramesh Kumar Vankwani.

Sindh Governor Imran Ismail and other parliamentarians were also present on the occasion.

The prime minister Imran Khan had wished everyone celebrating the occasion a Happy Diwali on November 7.
