IMPOSTORS and people of violent hidden agendas are fast moving into power politics. We, the People, become victims of consequential anarchy of barbarism, killings, crimes against humanity and genocide. Gaza and Ukraine portray the reality. Those most feared and hated assume contemporary leadership and further the fallacy of reason and reality.
How would one interpret the meaning of the UNO Charter, Magna Carta and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights? Humanity and civilizations do not grow out of the moral mire of conquests, horrors of wars and occupation. Were the events of WW2 not enough to redirect political agendas and priorities for human unity and peacemaking? Ukraine, Gaza and other parts of Palestine and several other areas remind us what can go wrong with political thinking, ignorance and crimes against humanity. Often wrongdoers intimately comfort and support one another. Truth about politics has not permeated public understanding that most leaders are egoistic and erroneous in their thoughts and behaviour. Resistance against tyranny and false leadership echoes universal consent and order.
We, the chief creation of God, are a moral being unlike other species, equipped with knowledge, wisdom and language to communicate. Life is a trust and a trial and effective leaders are always people-oriented, open to listening and learning and able to change the direction when facts of life warrant a navigational change to become a role model of moral characteristics, not evil-mongering. Those claiming to be successful like Benjamin Netanyahu and Donald Trump live in conflicting time zones as success achieved at the cost of blindness to the horrors of war and calamities of human degeneration are monsters of time and history. They are not a role model of leadership to be followed, but to be cursed by succeeding generations.
The Divine Revelation (The Quran: 43:53), speaks of Pharaoh who “sneered at his people, yet they obeyed him and they were immoral folks.” Netanyahu, emboldened by Trump, knows no limits to inordinate transgression against innocent people of Palestine as both make the “Greater Israel” a dream to come visible soon on the geo-political horizon. The UN and global community are waiting and watching the drama of daily killings, horrors and continued bombardments as the new normal. Just across Gaza, 2.5 million people face situations of life and death while the imposters of peace and globalisation make phony statements. Mankind continues to be victimised by the cancerous ego and cruelty of the few global warlords. Animals do not commit massacre of their kind and species, nor set-up rape camps for the war victims, the authoritarian led wars against humanity have and continue to do so at an unparalleled global scale without being challenged by any global organizations or leaders. Torture and massacres of innocent civilians are convenient fun games to be defined as “collateral damage” and a statistic. Perhaps, they view humanity just in digits and numbers, not as the living entities with social, moral, spiritual and intellectual values and progressive agendas for change and sustainable future-making.
Every beginning has its end. It is just that most powerful nations have failed to learn from living history. The comlicity and failure of Arab-Muslim leaders to stop the Israeli onslaught on Gaza represent the Arab societies without any thinking hubs and responsible leadership for change and remedial actions. The mindless oil-exporting Arab leaders are trying to buy wisdom with wealth and signed trillion-dollar agreements with the US, knowing well that the war is a racketeering business. The defence arrangements simply ensure the protection of authoritarian tyrants, not the people of the region. They buy false safety from enemies and deny people their rights to be self-sufficient in faith and security. While 2.5 fellow human beings (Gazan) are being systematically wiped out from the earth, some Arab and Muslim societies are overwhelmingly engaged in organising Eid festival and sacrificial animals – a critical moment in life and time to rethink who they are and where they are going to be?
Failure of International Institutions
If the UN had responsible and proactive leadership, the Secretary General and the Security Council should have planned a preventive humanitarian force to protect the people of Palestine and offer food and urgently needed humanitarian assistance to them. Not so, they make fake statements and live happily as well well-paid and well-fed class of oligarchy. Is the UN complicit in the making of genocide across Palestine? Are the people of Gaza and Palestine for trades-in to the Arab-Muslim leaders? All of the UN’s Charter, the Geneva Conventions and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights appear in books just in dry ink and meaningless words. Do the Israeli leaders have faith in their own religion (The Ten Commandments)? ‘Thou shalt not kill’ (Exodus. 20:13; also Deut. 5:17). Jewish law views the shedding of innocent blood very seriously, and lists murder as one of three sins (along with idolatry and sexual immorality), that fall under the category of yehareg ve’al ya’avor – meaning “One should let himself be killed rather than violate it.
We know from history that insane egoism brought the catastrophic downfall of Hitler and many empires. What would be the cure to the cruelty and insanity of Israeli-American leaders? You do not get entrapped in myth-making; every beginning has an end, and no nation is infinite or free from the consequences of its own fallibility. Nations do rise and fall, but intelligent people always readily accept advice. This is the 21st-century challenge and warnings to the contemporary transgressors – think again about your ambitions to overrun humanity and your own fate in waiting? History and fate will judge you by your actions, not by your claims. The US empire in its infancy, European imperialists, Israeli extremists, Russians, the oil-soaked mindless Middle Eastern rulers and other warlords – the acclaimed insane killers and aggressors – fearful of the self and of the unknown future – don’t repeat the history.
