GAZA – Israeli occupation forces have killed over 500 health workers in their genocidal attacks on the Gaza Strip since October 7, according to reports.

The continuous bombardment of Gaza has seen Israeli forces intentionally targeting health facilities and medical staff, exacerbating the already dire condition of Gaza’s health system.

The United Nations reports that more than 500 health workers have been killed in Gaza. Additionally, 23 out of the 36 hospitals in the region are now out of service due to the incursions.

Israeli forces have repeatedly targeted numerous health facilities in Gaza, with Shifa Hospital being a frequent target. These attacks have resulted in the brutal massacre of patients and further strained medical resources.

Due to the ongoing assaults and the occupation regime’s blockade of aid to Gaza, hospitals in the region are facing a severe shortage of medicines. The blockade has hampered the delivery of essential medical supplies, leaving the health infrastructure on the brink of collapse.

The international community continues to monitor the situation, calling for immediate cessation of hostilities and the provision of humanitarian aid to the besieged region.
