GAZA — At least nine Palestinians have been killed over the past 24 hours in Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip, as Israel continues to violate the so-called ceasefire agreement, killing hundreds and restricting the entry of aid.
Israeli artillery shelling targeted areas east of Gaza City overnight. One person was wounded by an Israeli quadcopter in al-Faluja, northern Gaza.
One person was killed and several wounded in an Israeli drone attack in Khan Younis.
Since the truce deal came into effect, at least 1,700 Israeli violations have been recorded, including the denial of necessary medical treatment and transfers abroad, restriction of aid as well as daily attacks launched across the territory.
Israel has killed 618 Palestinians and left 1,663 others wounded during this period.
In total, Israel has killed more than 72,082 Palestinians since the start of its genocidal war in October 2023 and destroyed nearly 90 percent of the territory’s infrastructure.
