BIKANER – Tensions escalate in Rajasthan as Bharatiya Janata Party Minority Morcha leader Usman Ghani got arrested by Rajasthan Police in Bikaner in an alleged ‘breach-of-peace’ case. Ghani, a prominent figure within the BJP’s minority wing, was expelled by the party for criticising PM Modi’s hate speech.

Ghani’s arrest also stems from his vocal criticism of Prime Minister Modi’s Hate speech, particularly regarding remarks perceived as derogatory towards Muslims.

The BJP Minority Morcha president in Bikaner expressed deep disappointment over Prime Minister Modi’s statements against Muslims, reflecting broader discontent within the minority community. Ghani’s arrest further exacerbates tensions, with critics alleging political motivations behind the detention.

The controversy surrounding Ghani’s arrest has prompted a swift reaction from opposition parties, who have filed a complaint with the Election Commission. Ghani is expected to be presented before the Sub-Divisional Magistrate as the situation unfolds.

In response to Ghani’s arrest, his supporters have rallied behind him, demanding justice and condemning what they perceive as targeting based on religious affiliation. Ghani’s arrest has reignited debates over freedom of speech and political dissent within the BJP and the broader political landscape.

As the situation unfolds, Ghani’s detention underscores the delicate balance between political discourse and law enforcement, highlighting the complexities of navigating religious and political tensions in contemporary India. The repercussions of Ghani’s arrest are likely to reverberate across Rajasthan’s political landscape in the days to come.
