NEW DELHI — A coronavirus (Covid-19) patient on the death-bed recorded a heartbreaking video depicting lack of facilities and services at a top government hospital in Jhansi area of Uttar Pradesh.
The 52-second video went viral after he breathed his last, triggering widespread outrage with people claiming that the government of Yogi Adityanath had failed to provide facilities in hospitals despite tall claims.
“There is no arrangement for water. I am feeling very hassled. Shift me to another hospital. There is no care here. There are no arrangements and there is total negligence,” the patient struggling with breathlessness says in the video.
The video, believed to have been shot on Wednesday at Jhansi Medical College and Hospital, also shows the ward full of covid-19 patients.
This video was shot by Mr Sanjay Tera just before he died showing the Jhansi Medical Situation where he requested them for better treatment but was ignored and irresponsibly staff couldn’t help him.

Media reports quoting a top hospital official said that the wife and daughter of the deceased had also tested positive and had been admitted in the same hospital but at a different facility.
In another incident of poor medicare, a covid-19 patient’s body was recovered from bushes near a government hospital in Prayagraj (formerly Allahabad) UP after a video showed him walking out of the hospital a day after he was admitted.
The family of the deceased released an audio clip, saying that no one came to his help while he was feeling suffocated on the ventilator. The family said that his death was the result of negligence of the hospital.
The cases of mismanagement have triggered anger among the people.
