NEW DELHI — Addressing a public gathering in Parbhani, Maharashtra, BJP legislator Raja Singh, known for his anti-Muslim rants, has demanded bulldozer action against Mughal emperor Aurangzeb’s grave saying that it is a demand of the Hindus of the entire country.
He urged the Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis to raze the Mughal emperor’s grave in Khuldabad, near Aurangabad in Maharashtra, media reports say.
“Erase the name of Aurangzeb from Maharashtra,” he added. Apart from speaking on Aurangzeb’s grave, he expressed anger over the name of Aurangabad Airport.

Raja Singh also urged the government to dismantle the properties belonging to the Dawood Ibrahim in Maharashtra.

Meanwhile,Meta, the parent company of Facebook and Instagram, has removed two Facebook pages and three Instagram accounts linked to Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA T Raja Singh for his misuse of the social media platform to spread hate against a particular community.
The action comes roughly two weeks after India Hate Lab (IHL) published a report highlighting the dissemination of hate speech on social media platforms. IHL is a project of the Center for the Study of Organised Hate (CSOH), a nonprofit think-tank based in Washington, USA.
According to media reports, Meta has removed two Facebook pages linked to Raja Singh with over one million followers and three Instagram accounts with over 155,000 followers, IHL announced on Thursday.
