Nisar Ahmed’s body smeared with blood was found with a slit throat at some distance from his house

NEW DELHI — Two people have been arrested in connection with the brutal killing of a political worker of All India Majlis Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) last week in Uttar Pradesh’s Jaunpur district, police said on Sunday.
According to the FIR, a copy of which lies with Clarion India, five people have been named in the case of murdering 19-year-old Qamaruzzama alias Nisar Ahmed on Tuesday, July 20. His body smeared with blood was found with a slit throat at some distance from his house.
The accused have been identified as Deepak Yadav, Rohan Shukla alias Poori Pandit, Lavkush Yadav, Vipin Yadav, and Vinay Yadav. According to the victim’s family, four of the five have been nabbed while one is still at large.

Pavan Upadhyay, the station house officer at Badlapur Khurd police station, said of the four nabbed, two were released after interrogation while two were formally arrested.
The FIR invokes sections 302 (murder), 147 (rioting), 148 (rioting with deadly weapon, 149 (unlawful assembly).
Nisar’s elder brother is head of AIMIM in Jaunpur assembly segment.
His other brother Mohammad Azhar said that recently Nisar had an argument with the accused. The argument had led to scuffle and the accused had threatened to kill Nisar.
