Israel is bullying the region and trampling international laws; the United States is a merchant of arms and an enemy of humanity, says Jamiat chief Arshad Madani
NEW DELHI — Condemning the Israeli attacks on Iran, the premier Muslim organisation Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind (Arshad Madani faction) called them state terrorism and a blatant violation of international laws.
In a statement issued here on Saturday, Jamiat President Maulana Arshad Madani said Israel’s attack on Iran’s nuclear sites and residential areas is a clear breach of the United Nations Charter and global norms.
The statement noted that Israel couldn’t launch the attack without the support of the United States and Western countries. “Israel is bullying the region and trampling international laws,” it said, describing the United States as a merchant of arms and an enemy of humanity.
It added that both the US and Israel are targeting every Muslim country in the region that strives to stand on its own by developing defensive capabilities. He further stated that at Israel’s behest, Iraq was first attacked and devastated. Iran was trying to stand on its own feet in the field of defence, and now it too is being targeted.
Maulana Madani said that the kind of bullying Israel is committing with the help of the United States could plunge the entire region into the flames of war.
Maulana Madani stated that the United States is mainly responsible for the genocide and destruction in Gaza. He said that America is the foremost accomplice in the devastation of Gaza and the ethnic cleansing of Arabs. The US wants Gaza to be emptied so that Jews can be settled there.
He said that on one hand, the United States is backing the oppressive and occupying Israel in the genocide in Gaza, and on the other hand, it has fully supported Israel in its attack on Iran.
He appealed to the Muslim World and Muslims across the globe to remain united in this time of trial. Maulana Madani called upon all Muslim countries, along with justice-loving nations around the world, to unite against Israeli barbarity and hegemonic designs.
