HYDERABAD – The All India Majlis Ittihad-ul-Muslimeen (AIMIM) has announced its candidates for three pivotal parliamentary constituencies – Asaduddin Owaisi from Hyderabad in Telangana, Imtiaz Jalil from Aurangabad in Maharashtra, and Akhtarul Iman from Kishanganj in Bihar.

During a media briefing here on Tuesday, Owaisi affirmed the party’s active involvement in the parliamentary elections. This strategic decision reflects the party’s ambition to extend its political influence by engaging in multiple constituencies.

Owaisi, a four-time Member of Parliament from Hyderabad, underscored the party’s determination to increase its representation in the Lok Sabha. Having secured two MPs in the previous elections, MIM now targets an additional seat in the upcoming general elections.

The announcement forms a crucial component of AIMIM’s strategic preparations for the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections.

The party’s decision underscores its steadfast commitment to champion the interests of the Muslim community while fortifying its political footprint on the national stage. As the electoral fervour gains momentum, the AIMIM has geared up for a spirited and competitive campaign across these significant constituencies.
