Bihar: AIMIM Leader in Siwan Killed in Full Public View

SIWAN — An All India Majlis-e- Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) leader, Arif Jamal, was killed in full public view as motorcycle-borne unidentified assailants sprayed bullets on him at Qutb Chapra Morr of the Hussainganj police station area here on Saturday.

The incident has sent waves of shock and fear throughout the region. Eyewitnesses claimed the assailants opened fire on Jamal while he was attending to his fast food outlet. 

A profusely bleeding Jamal was rushed to a nearby private hospital where he was declared  brought dead.

According to Hussainganj Police Station Chief Vijay Yadav, Jamal succumbed to gunshot wounds inflicted by the criminals. The attackers fled the scene immediately after the assault.

Initial investigations reveal that Jamal sustained a fatal gunshot wound to the stomach, even though the miscreants fired three rounds during the attack. The motive behind the killing has yet to be ascertained, and authorities are actively pursuing the case.

The local community and Arif Jamal’s family are mourning his tragic demise as an atmosphere of sorrow envelops his residence. The incident has sparked concerns about the safety and security in the area, prompting heightened vigilance among residents.

As the investigation unfolds, authorities are working to apprehend the perpetrators responsible for this heinous crime. The Siwan police have urged anyone with information related to the incident to come forward and assist in bringing the culprits to justice.
