Date:

SRINAGAR – There was across the political spectrum condemnation of an incident in J&K’s Pulwama district in which people alleged that some Army men entered a mosque.

People in Zadoora village of Pulwama district alleged that some Army personnel entered the local mosque and forced Muslims to chant ‘Jai Sri Ram’.

There has, however, been no word about this incident from the Army so far.

Three former chief ministers, Ghulam Nabi Azad, Omar Abdullah and Mehbooba Mufti condemned the incident on their social media Twitter pages

They demanded that the defence minister, Rajnath Singh must have the incident verified and if proved right, punish those responsible for it.

Similar condemnation also came from former minister and Peoples Conference chief, Sajad Gani Lone. -IANS
