NEW DELHI — Indian Constitution needs to be revised keeping in mind the interests of only Hindus and Muslims ought to be excluded from all decision-making bodies, Hindutva leader, Praveen Togadia, has said.

“When we take over, we’ll rewrite India’s Constitution to make sure that no Muslim is elected to a position of authority,” Togadia, who is also president of Antarashtriya Hindu Parishad said.

Speaking at a public gathering in Uttarakhand at the weekend, Tagodia also emphasised the need for a “population control law” in India, media reports said.

“The provision of subsidised grains will not be made to people with more than two children. There is no free healthcare or education in public hospitals or schools. There is no right to apply for government loans, no right to vote, and no right to apply for government jobs,” he was quoted as saying.

These “actions,” he claimed, will result in a sharp decrease in the number of other minority communities, particularly Muslims.

He stated that they had started a programme called “Veer Hindu Vijetha Hindu,” which included the distribution of trishuls (tridents) to over two crore young Hindu men and women.
