BJP’s Divisive Rhetoric Fails; Massive Crowds Cry for Change at Hadik’s Rally

Date:

Huge gathering at Hardik Patel’s rally on Monday highlights the mood of the electorate as they were crying for a change in Gujarat.

By talking about Pakistan and Hindu-Muslim issues, Modi ji has proved that no development work has been made in the state,” said Hardik Patel

AHMEDABAD — If tens of thousands of residents, mostly Patels, gather in the capital city of Gujarat at the call of youth leader Hardik Patel and cry for change, then the big news of December 18 is not going to be good for the BJP which has been ruling the state, without any break, for the last 25 years.

And this also shows that all hard efforts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his BJP to keep the election and supportive media campaigns focused on divisive, communal and emotional issues have failed.

On Monday evening, Patel youth icon Hardik addressed a mammoth gathering in Ahmedabad. “By talking about Pakistan and Hindu-Muslim issues, Modi ji has proved that no development work has been made in the state,” said Hardik.

Commenting on the huge gathering at his Ahmedabad rally, he said: “The huge crowd itself was telling all. Mostly, they were crying for change and rights.”

In his aggressive election campaign in the last two weeks, PM Modi has been focusing on Congress, Rahul Gandhi, some controversial remarks of Congress leaders, the presidential election of Congress etc. He has hardly been seen talking about development issues.
