AMARAVATI — In the wake of a notice served by the YSRCP government to the former chief minister of Andhra Pradesh Chandrababu Naidu to vacate his home at Undavalli, scores of farmers from the capital city region thronged his residence on Friday and offered him free land for his house in the region itself.

The farmers requested Chandrababu Naidu not to leave the capital region but live in some other village and offered around 4,800 sq yards of land to construct his own home in any of the villages in the capital region, it is reported.

Farmers, led by TDP ex-MLA Sarvan Kumar, also said they would bear the cost of construction of Naidu’s house in the capital city.

Since Chandrababu Naidu lost in the elections and the YSRCP came to power in Andhra Pradesh a pall of gloom hangs over the former chief minister.

The security cover of Chandrababu Naidu has also been reduced. The new government has curtailed the security cover of Naidu’s family members as well.

CM Jaganmohan Reddy has also decided to launch a judicial inquiry into the contract allotment of several of the projects allotted during the regime of the previous government.

Meanwhile, former MP Rayapati Sambasiva Rao came forward with an offer to vacate his bungalow in Guntur to accommodate Naidu. He met Naidu at his residence and requested him to move into his house., reports The Times of India.
