32 More Palestinians Killed in Last 24 Hours Amid Israel’s War on Gaza, Toll Over 34,000

Date:

GAZA — Over the past 24 hours, the Gaza Strip witnessed 32 more deaths and injuries to 69 others, as Israel continues genocide in the besieged territory. This information was reported by Gaza’s Health Ministry on Saturday.

The Health Ministry issued a statement condemning what it described as “four massacres” perpetrated by Israel against families in Gaza, resulting in the loss of 32 lives and leaving dozens more wounded.

The statement also highlighted the harrowing reality faced by many who remain trapped under rubble or on impassable roads, unable to be reached by rescuers.

Despite a provisional ruling issued by the International Court of Justice, Israel persists in its offensive against Gaza. The conflict has exacted a heavy toll, with Palestinian health authorities reporting that since October 7, approximately 34,388 Palestinians have lost their lives, predominantly women and children, while 77,437 have been injured.

The ongoing Israeli campaign has caused immense suffering, forcing 85% of Gaza’s population into internal displacement amid acute shortages of basic necessities such as food, clean water, and medicine. Additionally, the United Nations reports that 60% of the enclave’s infrastructure has been damaged or destroyed due to the conflict.

Israel faces accusations of genocide before the International Court of Justice. In January, the court issued an interim ruling ordering Israel to cease genocidal acts and ensure the provision of humanitarian assistance to civilians in Gaza.

However, hostilities have continued unabated, with humanitarian aid deliveries remaining insufficient to meet the urgent needs of those affected by the escalating crisis.
